I’ve never made anything with sourdough, sorry if this is a silly question, but the 3/4 cup starter is that after the dry starter was fed and built?

  2. Amy says:

Just curious, about how many pancakes did you get out of the above recipe? Can’t wait to try it!

  3. Maia says:

Very excited for this! Had a major fail on sourdough pancakes this am, only to open my email and find this!

  4. Sarah says:

What could I replace the sourdough starter with to make these pancakes?

    • Hannah says:

Half cup of flour and a fourth cup of water will be about equivalent but you would want to add some extra baking soda as well to help it rise probably

These were very good for a birthday breakfast. My only changes were to use whole wheat flour instead of white (white flour adds zero flavor) and add a finely chopped apple. Delicious served with homemade plum jam and homemade yogurt.

  6. Renae says:

Could this be baked on a sheet pan? How long?

  7. Madeline Kendall says:

Delicious! I subbed the honey for Stevia and added strawberries 🙂

  8. Em says:

Hi, I was wondering what can I used as a replacement for the egg? My son is allergic to eggs. Thank you for your help and expertise!
